Devoiler Noir is a story about a private eye named John

Having reached success with his first few investigations, he is contacted by an old friend from the war: Donald

At first, he thinks he's in for a simple, happy night of drinks and reminiscing

However, any chance of the night being pleasant is dashed when he finds that Donald has been murdered in cold blood

Determined to catch the culprit, he goes on an impromptu investigation of his own

But the city of Manhattan is a dark one, and John will soon find out that even acts supposed to make the world brighter is laced with darkness. . .
